I love me some skewers & I can't believe it took me this long to finally review Xinjiang. I loveee how Xinjiang is open so late -- the best place to go to after an event w friends if you have the munchies XD I've only ever dined out or ate Xinjiang to-go but it still sooo good I swear. I've tried other skewer spots and they're good but not as good as Xinjiang. Xinjiang is also super budget friendly -- skewers are so cheap here and what's even better is they're DELICIOSO! I didn't dine in but the interior was super cool w the LED lights & visuals. My friends and I usually order chicken skin, lamb, beef, cucumber salad, and fried tofu. I usually come with 4 people and all of that between us I remember paying less than $10... again SO cheap and so good. I want to try the eggplant next time because I keep hearing from others that it's rly good. The seasoning that Xinjiang puts on their skewers is unreal... so flavorful. So grateful my friends introduced me to this place :') this is one of 626s hidden gems. This is also a nice place to drink at with friends. I'll be back soon :)

Love the projections on the wall! This would be one of the places Id want to come alone and just chill at and eat skewers at night. My top skewers would be the intestine, chicken skin, and beef! We tried so many different skewers but these stood out to me, but all of them were pretty solid. Skewers came out pretty fast as well.

waited a little over an hour to be seated on a friday late night. we were called in after putting ourselves on the waitlist (and waiting for 15min) but we still had to wait for 45 min inside the restaurant... not sure why we were called to come in even though our table was not ready ambiance of the restaurant is very interesting- there's projectors all around the room that show various visuals but almost like a low budget version. it's nice to look at while waiting for food ~Food~ skewers itself were all ok, nothing special. beef was the best. we ordered the quail eggs but got some century eggs?? which i didn't even know were on the menu and tasted horrible (rubbery with no flavor (didn't even taste like century egg) eggplant: best dish here!! the eggplant was seasoned so well and the outside was charred perfectly shredded potatoes: can't go wrong with potatoes. these were so crunchy but just needed a bit of vinegar or some sourness i've seen a bunch of people order cucumber salad, so will be ordering those next time ~Service: slow and ok. they didn't check up on us but they were around enough for us to request things if we needed ~Cost: $ very affordable for skewers ~Parking: free plaza parking available

I think this is my favorite chill spot I've ever been to! The vibes inside were SO cool!! No description I give it would do it justice. It's very lively and pretty. The service was fast and efficient. The food was quite good! My favorite was the bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms :) if you're looking for a cool date spot or somewhere to impress your friends this it is! 10/10 highly recommend will absolutely be taking all my favorite people here.

First, I looooove the chicken skin skewer!! Haha just had to get that out there first I went here for the first time recently, and the first thing that I noticed was how cool the interior was. I really enjoyed the visual aspect of having the projections on the wall and the good Chinese music they play in the background. Looks very China-nightlife-esque. We ordered beef, lamb, chicken skin, bun skewers. My favorite was the chicken skin, but my boyfriend preferred the beef/lamb skewers. They had toppings available at your table. I think I would pass on the buns next time. Service was pretty fast, though there weren't that many interactions. I think the seating is kind of off-balanced, as the table is a bit higher than where it would feel comfortable for a couch setting.

Solid place to get skewers in the SGV! My favorites were the beef, intestines, and chicken skin skewers. My friends and I ordered some sides like the sweet corn, cucumber, and eggplant and we're all thought they were pretty good too. Out of the three, I recommend the cucumber for some balance to all the dry spices and meats. Service was good- nothing spectacular but nothing bad. There was no wait at 6pm on a Saturday when we went. Parking: ample plaza parking

Cool ambience where the walls are used as screens for projectors that show nice digital scenery. You order via their QR code and they drop on your table your orders. We loved the cucumber salad, which was very garlicky. Their lamb and beef kebabs were the best with a strong cumin taste. The sausage was just a hotdog with seasoning and didn't care for the pork belly. Parking easy. Seating is strange where the seat can tip forward if you sit on the very front tip of your couch. On the weekday, I didnt hear anyone sing, but there seems to be an option for karaoke.

This is my go-to for Lamb Skewers with cumin seasoning. They open at 5 pm until late. They have a small dining room, and it's always almost full every night. For takeout, They have lots of takeout orders, so make sure you call them and order first before heading down there or there will be a wait for about 25 mins to 45 mins depending how busy they are.
